Well, I haven't been on DA in ooooh nearly a year (6 months of a subscription wasted ) and I've obviously been OVERWHELMED by deviations. I've just finished browsing through three and a half thousand of 'em. But loved every minute of it .

The whole going to college thing never worked out; not financially viable for lazy old me. Besides, photography is one of those things I'd rather keep as a casual hobby as opposed to it being a career.

Despite that, I seem to have fallen in love with photography again, especially after looking through my DevWatch list, and another occasion this weekend that I've been away at where I had an opportunity to brush up on some basic skills. My Dad got married yesterday, and his fiancee (now wife ) and him asked me to do some photos at the ceremony and the reception. Which was good fun because as well as meeting the other side of the new familia and having a good time, I got to tinker about with his Nikon D70 (a rare luxury). So if there's anything worth uploading, they'll be up here soon .

So will I remain a sporadic user of this wicked community, or am I here to stay? Hopefully the latter.
